Essex Steam Train will operate its Annual Eagle Flyer - President's Weekend, February 16 & 17, 2013. Departures at 11:00am & 2:00pm
$20.00 Adults / $15.00 Children Ages 2-11(Free under Age 2) Vintage Diesel Locomotive 0900 will pull the Eagle Flyer out of Essex Station for a 2½-hour eco-excursion. The train will make local station stops in Deep River, Chester, Eagle Landing State Park and Haddam. Local residents may board at their nearby train station as outlined in the following schedule. Naturalists will be on board to share information about our national symbol, the Bald Eagle, and its glorious migration south to the Connecticut River Valley from December to March. Bring Binoculars... Eagle Spotting is a wondrous natural event for ALL to share and enjoy! |

Passengers accepted at Deep River, Chester, Hadlyme & Haddam on a space-as-available basis. Payment at Local Station Stops is cash only. Credit card and cash payments are accepted at Essex Station. Fare will be pro-rated for partial or less-than-full round trips. Pick up advance tickets at Essex Station 30 minutes prior to your departure time. If Event is cancelled due to extreme weather, you will be notified by email and full refund will be issued. Otherwise, all sales are final no refunds or exchanges.
