One of the most valuable donations you can give is your time and enthusiasm. The dedication of the Friends volunteers is truly an amazing thing. We all share a love of Railroading, whether it be operations, history, modeling, preservation or education.
We are currently in the process of restoring a 1941 H.K. Porter #2 0-6-0T steam engine! Here are some quick details: Builder number 7344, Tank Engine, Oil Fired, Worked for the navy during WWII in Virginia as # 14 and later for Simons Wrecking Co. as # 2. We are trying to raise a total of $20,000 in donations to restore this wonderful piece of history! Any amount you can give will help us reach our goal!

- Antique railroad films
|
- HO scale Model Railroad items

Could that item collecting dust in your attic turn into a tax deduction? If you are in a position to make a donation, please contact the FVRR for more information.
