Essex Steam Train's No. 40 . . .
the "Big Iron Horse" in The Last Train

Share The Last Train in the perfect storybook setting of Essex Steam Train & Riverboat . . . with its 1892 freight depot and vintage rolling stock, located in the quaint, historic village of Essex, CT. Illustrator Wendell Minor even chose Essex Steam Train's Locomotive No. 40 as the "big iron horse" for his paintings throughout the pages of The Last Train!

Also on October 2nd . . . bring The Last Train to life aboard an Essex Steam Train ride pulled by Steam Engine No. 40. The train will be operated by Engineer Paul Lewis, Road Foreman of Engines and Trainmaster of the Valley Railroad Company . . . not to mention the illustrated "railroad man" driving Engine No. 40 in The Last Train!
